Productivity lost, through either under-performing employees or absenteeism due to chronic pain, puts employers and their bottom line at risk. When pain persists that potentially lengthens an employee’s out of work status, the condition can quickly exacerbate making resolution difficult to achieve. At Southeastern Interventional Pain Associates, it is our goal to return injured or ill employees back to pre-condition status as soon as possible, and while delivering the most compassionate care possible that satisfies both the employer and the employee.

Interventional paincare treatments are growing in favor, especially during the recent opioid epidemic. Our treatments can help patients stay off of pain medications, which can become dangerous if relied on for long periods of time. We treat pain at the source which is the ideal remedy, especially when coupled with physical or occupational therapy.

Southeast Interventional Pain Associates Understand The Need For:

  • Coordination of care with other specialists and ancillary providers
  • Appropriate and prompt documentation, including status request
  • Clear communication and in a timely manner
  • Minimal/no prescription of narcotics
  • Minimal lost work time
  • Identification of malingering cases
  • Prompt restoration to pre-condition status
  • Expedited case closure
  • CLOSE MONITORING OF TOTAL CLAIM COST

Timely communication and reporting are critical for effective case management. At Southeastern Interventional Pain Associates, we place a strong focus on our ability to communicate on the patient’s treatment plan and status with all key stakeholders. And, we can manage a patient’s case entirely; or we can work with the primary treating physician, the orthopedic surgeon for example, and provide specific courses of treatment such as injections and EMGs. We will take direction from you regarding our level of participation in a case.

For patients suffering from lingering or chronic pain, and for employers whose aim is an early return to work, interventional pain management can reduce and often eliminate severe pain.
